PAHANG ( winning the semi-final 6-3 on aggregate )

Pahang’s head coach Zainal Abidin Hassan has dedicated their achievement of making it into the Malaysia Cup final to their fans.

After losing 3-1 in their first game against Kedah, Pahang came back strongly in the second leg to win 5-0, winning the semi-final 6-3 on aggregate.

Zainal said “They did really well to win the game and did not waste their chances. We had six chances in the first half and we scored four. That gave us the advantage.”

Zainal also insisted that he was not surprised with the big scoreline, and believed that the absence of Namkung Woong, and the presence of their two import players Dickson Nwkaeme and Matias Conti really made the difference.

When asked about the final, Zainal said he wants his players to give all their focus for the clash against JDT this Saturday at National Stadium, Bukit Jalil.
